To conduct business as an official commercial entity within South Africa, you need to register as a company with the CIPC.
Basic:
- Company registration with CIPC
Plus:
- Company registration with CIPC
- Obtain share certificates. A share certificate is legal proof of ownership of a company, issued to all shareholders.
- Obtain a BEE Affidavit. A BEE affidavit serves as a B-BBEE certificate in the case of Exempted Micro Enterprises (EME’s) where no other verification is required.
Non-profit company (NPC):
- Non-profit company registration with the CIPC.
- Not to be confused with NPO registration.
