Why do I need it?
Veterinary medicines, products, supplements, and consumables are made available on the South African market pending approval from the appropriate regulatory department.
This is essential to ensure all products on the local market are tested to be safe for animal use, and that all livestock are exclusively exposed to treatments that ensure safety for eventual human use.
Dental products, medicines and consumables

What is it?
Registration and compliance as per the Foodstuffs, Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act (Act 54 of 1972) and the various amendments to the Act.
Why do I need it?
According to the Foodstuffs, Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act, all products covered by the act must adhere to the registrations and safety regulations specified by the act.
This is essential to ensure all products on the local market are tested to be safe for human use.
Labelling compliance check for local distribution and export
Price: R2,040 for 3 hours, thereafter charged at R780/hour
Delivery: 5 working days
What is it?
Examination of a product label to ensure it satisfies South African labelling requirements as set out in the Consumer Protection Act, the Foodstuffs, Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act, and additional specified regulations applicable to the product type. This service also includes suggestion for rephrasing and editing non-compliant label content.
Why do I need it?
Goods that arrive at export Customs, or are made available on the local market (by import or local production) with inadequate labelling may be seized and destroyed by the applicable regulatory body. The entity responsible for compliance may be fined and/or prohibited from engaging in future trade.
